Amazing. I thought that was the end of this whole cz business. Then I found out from Singapore Angle that he got burnt at the stake – someone reported him to both PSC and ST. Singaporeans can be so cruel sometimes. There are better ways to handle situations. Ruining someone’s future over something which might have been taken out of context is just wrong … so wrong. Hunt the witch-hunters? But that would be missing the whole point. Witch-hunts shouldn’t exist in the first place.
But you know what? It’s alright, cause as I said in a previous entry entitled ‘Fleeting Nature: The Next Big News‘, he’ll only be remembered till the next scandal comes up. Now and then, his name will pop up in conversations for sure, but soon, nobody will remember. Because honestly, people don’t really care. Bad news sell. They just wanna something to tide them over till something else comes up. All that is left is a bunch of family and close friends, and the victim himself, who’ll be scarred by this incident.
You know, somehow, this reminds me of the prison system. Ex-cons have difficulty being hired for a job. They have no hope for a fresh start, so they go back to the illegal stuff again. Sometimes it’s not totally their fault. Society plays a part too.
