- People’s Action Party (PAP) manifesto [link]

- Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDA) Agenda [link]

- Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) manifesto [link]

- Worker’s Party (WP) manifesto [link]

to be continued …

I gotta say this though, PAP wins hands down when it comes to presentation and the concept of k.i.s.s. (keep it simple stupid). Haven’t really read through any of the manifestoes, so I’ll leave the comments at that.

Had a look at all four manifestos. Obviously, PAP is very much more sound in presentation skills than the rest of the parties. Cant imagine the common singaporean ploughing through the worker’s party manifesto.

I agree that the PAP manifesto is the most colorful and therefore most closely resembles an advertisement brochure. It is full of short slogans that lack depth and oftentimes are nothing new or innovative. I would say 90% is empty phrases and liveless promises. I think any Singaporean should read the other manifestos. I find the Workers’ Party manifesto very sophisticated and concrete. The wind of change would do a great thing for Singapore and be a greater chance of fulfilling the promises such as helping people play a more active role in the society. Because only if we look at the real problems and find a Democratic solution to them, can there ever be a real bond between government and the people.
